The last week of May was dominated by Google Android related stories. You got new Android smartphones releasing in all price segments. The LG G3 set the benchmark in the top end market, while XOLO made a decent sub-5k phone a reality. Apple brought the 8 GB version of the iPhone 5C. Don't get too excited though as this so called "affordable" phone still costs Rs 37,500. Microsoft as usual spent its time catching up with these companies. Rather than unveiling something new, it finally managed bring WhatsApp back on its mobile platform after almost two weeks.
