Karbonn Launches Aura 9 With 4,000 mAh Battery At Rs 6,390.

Aura 9 is another addition to the class of few smartphones with such huge batteries in India.

 

Indian smartphone maker Karbonn has launched a new smartphone dubbed the Aura 9 which comes with a huge 4,000 mAh battery at a price tag of Rs 6,390.

Aura 9 which is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and coupled with 1 GB RAM comes with an 8 GB internal storage which can expanded via microSD card upto 32 GB.

The smartphone comes with a 5 inch display with IPS LCD screen.

Coming to the camera section, the smartphone has an 8 MP auto focus rear camera and 5 MP front camera. Along with this, the smartphone comes with connectivity options like 3G, FM Radio, GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB port.

The smartphone also supports 21 Indian languages which seems to be a trending feature among smartphone companies in India especially in the budget range like Panasonic Love T10, Micromax Canvas Spark and Intex Aqua Star 2 HD to name a few.

The company also claims its massive 4,000 mAh battery to offer up top 10 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

The Karbonn Aura 9 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat which may sound a little odd when Google is all set to bring in its Android Marshmallow.

Considering its price point, we expect the smartphone to compete with the likes of Micromax Canvas Selfie 2, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime and the Lenovo A5000 among others.
