Gionee F103 With Mirror Glass Back Launched At Rs 9,999

While the technical specs may not impress a few, the company is looking forward to attract users with its design and appeal.

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has once again come up with a new smartphone in India, dubbed the F103 with a price tag of Rs 9,999.

With just 7.9 mm thickness and mirror glass back and metal frame, the smartphone is the first device in the F-Series which aims at consumers interested in fashion and lifestyle.

The mirror back is quite similar to Oppo Mirror 5 that was launched in India recently at Rs 15,990.

Sporting a 5 inch HD IPS display, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core 64 bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Amigo UI 3.1.

The dual SIM which supports 4G/3G connectivity also comes with a few basic connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB and GPS.

The smartphone comes in pearl white, dawn white and black colours.

Having said this, the new Gionee smartphone comes with 2 GB of RAM in India which is twice the RAM in the international variant.

Along with this, the F103 comes with a 2,400 mAh battery which the company claims to deliver up to 185 hours of standby time and 11 hours of talk time on 3G.

On the camera front, the device sports an 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5 mP front camera.

Considering the price point and the technical specifications of the smartphone, we can clearly see a tough competition to Gionee F103 from Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Note 2 which come with better specifications.

It is also worth noting that the technical specifications may be not so impressive for many, but the company seems to be looking forward to attract the users with its design and the social appeal.

However, if you are looking forward to get your hands on the smartphone, you can hit various brick-and-mortar outlets in India by the first week of September.

To recall, Gionee recently launched Marathon M4 with a huge 5,000 mAh battery in August this year.
