Videocon Launches Z55 Dash With 5 Inch HD Display At Rs 6,490

With pretty decent specifications, the company's Z55 Dash looks to be designed keeping in view the dynamic needs of the consumer.

 

Videocon has recently launched a budget smartphone dubbed the Z55 Dash with a price tag of Rs 6,490.

While the phone is said to be completely designed and assembled at its local manufacturing plant in India, the pocket friendly smartphone comes in two colour options - Black & Gold and White & Silver.

Also, it is being said that the smartphone will be sold exclusively via India's e-commerce portal Flipkart.

Having a 5 inch HD display with screen resolution of 1280  x 720, the display is further guarded with Dragontrail X Glass and anti-fingerprint coating.

Digging more on to the specifications of the smartphone, it is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and 1 GB RAM along with 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB via the microSD card.

The camera section comes with an 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5 MP front facing camera for effective selfies.

The phone runs on the older version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System out-of-the-box. The Videocon Z55 Dash is powered by 2,200 mAh battery and could last for the better part of the day with average use

The connectivity option includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G.

Along with this, Videocon is also offering a 90 days free subscription of V-Secure antivirus software and GPS-powered personal safety app, V-Safe with the smartphone.
