Samsung GALAXY Note 4 To Be Unveiled On September 3

Seems like smartphone manufacturers need a head start to compete with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6.

Reports are pouring in that Samsung may in all probability announce its GALAXY Note 4 on the 3rd of September. The event happens at the IFA Berlin where Samsung will take to the stage to display what is rumoured to be a game-changing smartphone.

Reports are still a bit sketchy but The Korea Times reports that Samsung will announce the Samsung GALAXY Note 4 a day before last year’s announcement. Samsung’s much-talked about GALAXY Note 4 will supposedly be a game changing device for the Android space.

Rumours point to a powerful processor hiding behind what may be a three-sided display. There are even rumours that point to two versions of the Note 4 being launched. One with a standard flat display while the other one with the YOUM 3-sided glass. As for the processor it will indeed be the most powerful one yet, (unless of course it makes an appearance in the GALAXY Alpha first) tagged as the Exynos 5433 with numbers that are second only to the mighty Nvidia Tegra K1. Of course we are all hoping that it will sport a quad HD display as well, but for now, it clearly serves no purpose unless its available on a tablet. Also rumoured to make it to the GALAXY Note 4 is some form of ultrasonic tech for 3D touchless input.

Surprisingly the date also coincides with Sony’s Xperia launch. Meaning that both manufacturers want to announce their smartphone flagships for the next two quarters before Apple shows off its 4.7 inch iPhone 6, which is rumoured to take place on 19th of September.
