Xiaomi Mi 4 Shows Up Online Days Before Announcement

So far, it looks pretty much like the leaked images and will sport a Snapdragon 805.

While Xiaomi is busy preparing for the grand launch of what will be its next best-selling flagship, the handset has already shown up online and looks pretty much like the leaks in the past. Apart from the image, the product listing also shows the specs of the unannounced smartphone which looks pretty competitive if you ask us.

While all of this could indeed be a nice prank, (since the product images don't match anything) it could be the specs that we would expect from someone who is launching a smartphone this late in the current year.

The retailer talks about receiving the smartphone’s specifications via a benchmark and weirdly both the images in the same listing do not match. Still then, we were indeed expecting a game-changing Nvidia Tegra K1 inside instead of the Snapdragon 805, which is still not bad compared to the current offering in the flagship smartphone space.

We get a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel) display meaning that the handset will compete in specs directly with the Oppo Find 7 and the LG G3 when launched in selected countries. The handset will reportedly sport a 16 MP primary camera along with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and will come with 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal memory as well. All of this will be powered by a 3200 mAh battery unit.

Of course Xiaomi is late to the flagship smartphone game this year, but even without the Tegra K1, we think that coupled with the company’s pricing, (not the price listed here) it should be a killer deal. The retailer also mentions that the handset will be launched in India as well so that is indeed good news for Xiaomi fans out here.
