Latest Lumia 830 Leak Confirms ‘Nokia by Microsoft’

Microsoft is finally taking the leap to change the branding of its mobile devices and things seem to be good.

Leaks have now led us to believe that Microsoft’s next Windows Phone device will be tagged as ‘Nokia by Microsoft.’ It was just a few days ago that the Lumia 830 surfaced online, and things have just gotten clear -- both for the handset and the company.

The image shows the product render, which was leaked from a Weibo account displaying the new ‘Nokia by Microsoft’ branding. This could be some photoshop artist hard at work, but this is a bit credible since EvLeaks had mentioned the brand change back in June to the same name.

The leaked handset shows the strange looking Lumia 1020-like black circle on the back with a design that seems to be a fusion of the Nokia XL with the Lumia 930. There is an LED flash and since this is a mid-ranger, a 13 MP PureView camera on the back will do.

Surely, Microsoft will not let go of the Nokia branding for its handsets. There is a lot hanging in the balance with just the name and so far Microsoft seems to have made the right decision by adding both to the mix.
