Keeping up with its The Next Billion strategy, Nokia has unveiled two new dual-SIM (GSM) handsets, the 110 and 112. Both these handsets are based on the Series 40 platform, and will cater to low-end market segment.



The Nokia 110 and 112 feature a bar design and have 1.8" screens. Apart from that, they have an-external SIM slot, VGA camera, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm jack, EDGE connectivity, FM radio, and microSD card slot. The 112 packs in a 1400 mAh battery, while the 110 comes with a 1020 mAh pack...

If you are a Vodafone or airtel subscriber owning a Nokia handset, then you can now download content from Nokia's content store, and pay for it through your monthly mobile phone bills. If you are a prepaid customer instead, the amount will be taken off from your balance talktime. This move will offer respite to those who are uncomfortable using credit cards to purchase apps from the store.

The store features over one lakh apps and content modules, and the company suggests that its India store caters to over than 60 million downloads a month. Until now, consumers could purchase premium content only using credit cards...
