Could This Be The Nokia Lumia 830?

Images have surfaced via Weibo account of an unknown Nokia Lumia device, is this the mid-range ‘Superman’?

 

It has been a long time since we have seen a Nokia handset leak. Finally, today we have some fresh news about a mid-range handset, which we think could be the next Lumia 830, the successor to the older Nokia Lumia 820.

There are not too many details that have leaked about the handset, but we are hearing murmurs that this could be the mid-range ‘Superman’ that Microsoft will be launching soon. Microsoft has clearly gone with a mixed design here. It takes the plastic body of the Nokia XL and merges it with the Lumia 930’s aluminium frame. The result looks pretty good if you ask us, except for that Oreo-like PureView circle for the camera setup on the back; which looks a bit out of place.

The design is certainly impressive and manages to fuse polycarbonate with aluminium in a seamless experience that looks a lot better than the Lumia 930 (forget the 925). In terms of hardware, expect a 1080p display with a glass screen that curves and vanishes into the bezels of the device. We should also expect a Snapdragon 801 at the heart since the device will be launched in a couple of months; more so because the 801s are now done with. Nokia is always late to party as they proved with the Lumia 1520 and the 930; so this time around we expect it to do the same.
