Sony May Take Its Xperia Z4 Global After Hong Kong And Taiwan Launch

Fans finally have something to look up to.

 

While Sony got everyone excited with the launch of its Xperia Z4 in Japan a few weeks ago, the excitement died out soon when it made things clear that the flagship was not heading elsewhere.

Well, today there is plenty of news coming from the media in Hong Kong and Taiwan about Sony sending out media invites for something big.

It invites the media to an even that will see the unveiling of not just one, but a couple of devices. According to them this could be the Xperia Z3+/Z4, the recently announced Xperia C4 and the Xperia Z4 Tablet in those markets.

While we already have the metal-framed, Xperia C4 coming out in June, we are excited to see that Sony has changed its mind and decided to launch the Xperia Z4 (or its variant) out in the China and Taiwan.

All of this points to a global launch of Xperia Z4, which will be welcomed by many Sony fans.

While the Xperia Z3 was nothing much to talk about, the Z4 indeed is. This is because Sony has chosen to include the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 inside.

Indeed it will appeal to customers, but what is worrisome is the heating issue, that even Xiaomi with all its expertise seems to be combating for its Mi Note Pro, while LG simply moved on to the hexa-core 808 with its G4. Sony already had heating issues with the slim OmniBalance design of its Z3, lets hope the same has been solved in the Z4 as things are bound to get hotter.
