Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 Could Be Unveiled In July

Wants to keep up with the Apple iPhone 6s Plus.

Samsung even with the success of its Galaxy S6 smartphones this year, isn’t too clear about where its Note series is headed. While the Galaxy Note 4 stole the show last year (in comparison to the S5), this year Samsung will have a new competitor, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus to keep up with as well.

If the news from Korea is true, Samsung has apparently preponed its announcement of its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy Note 5.

Samsung has allegedly demanded its teams (who are ahead of schedule) to speed up the process as it wants to showcase the final product to carriers by July end, so that pre-orders can begin by August.

This of course is to avoid crossing paths with Apple’s iPhone 6s and 6s Plus announcement and launch, which often takes place in September.

Samsung of late had begun announcing its phablet series of smartphones in September itself at a special unpacked event. While it did not have any competitors in the space earlier, last year’s craze for the new, bigger, iPhone 6 Plus model must have definitely been a close call for the Korean smartphone maker. This is because they launched almost simultaneously in markets like India (more so because of India’s growing interest in Apple devices).

After the success of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and edge this year, everyone in the Android community is indeed excited to know what Samsung has in store for its Note series of smartphones. Let’s hope that Samsung pulls of something similar.
