OnePlus Reveals OxygenOS Team; No Word On Launch Date Yet

Considering that the Paranoid Android team is on-board, it will be unique.

OnePlus had big announcement to make and it did so with a bang indeed. The Chinese smartphone maker has been teasing fans about its upcoming OxygenOS firmware that it now revealed will be built using expertise from none other than 3rd party ROM developer Paranoid Android (PA).

Paranoid Android is known to introduce a number of new and innovative features in its ROMs that are available for Google (Nexus) devices. Clearly its coolest achievement was the per app DPI optimisation feature that isn’t available anywhere else (unless of course someone has added it to their unofficial build).

PA aside, the team will consist of members from all over the world including countries like USA, Canada, India, Italy, Colombia, Lebanon and Spain.

While OnePlus once again refused to reveal any details about the launch date of the ROM, it did comment that it is in development; and that certifications slow down the process as well.

As for the OxygenOS ROM itself, the team wants to deliver a flawless experience (if one exists) and has encouraged fans to not settle for anything less.
