Nokia Brings Asha 303 To India

First S40-based handset powered by 1 GHz CPU will be available by March.

 

Considering the rave reviews received by the Nokia's Asha 200 feature phone, it's not surprising that the company has decided to launch more devices from the series in India. This time around the Finnish-brand has brought the Asha 303. Running on the Series 40 platform, the device comes preloaded with the Nokia Music Service, Nokia browser, Nokia maps, Zenga TV, Whatsapp, and Angry Birds among others. The music service allows users to get access to more than four million legal digital DRM-free soundtracks.

The Asha 303 measures 116.5 mm (h) x 55.7  mm (w) x 13.9 mm (d) and weighs 99 grammes and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It comes with 64 MB of internal memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB via microSD card.

The device sports a 2.6"capacitive touchscreen with pixel dimensions of 240x320. Asha 303 also comes with a full QWERTY keypad. Other features include a 3.2 MP camera with 4x digital zoom, FM radio, GPRS, Edge, 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The phone will be available red, graphite, silver white, aqua, green, and purple hues. Pricing details haven't been revealed yet, but the phone will be available by March.
