Samsung Opens Up About The Note 4’s "Gap" Issue

If it does not affect the functionality of the phone, just let it be.

Samsung has responded (and we must say pretty quickly) to the whole ‘gap’ issue on its recently announced GALAXY Note 4 smartphone. While it isn’t clear whether the issue is a design defect or an assembly problem, Samsung has also been mum about the same.

In the official response to the issue Samsung had the following to say:

"The reported issue does not impact the functionality or quality of the Galaxy Note 4. We assure our customers that all Galaxy Note 4 units meet our strict manufacturing and quality control standards,"

The response was sent to Trusted Reviews and it seems that Samsung has stayed clear about commenting on what the issue actually is and has gone forward with a straightforward answer.

As for the gap that lies between the GALAXY Note 4’s shiny metal frame and the display’s glass, we will know for sure whether the gap is a problem only after a few months go by and users have utilised their devices to the fullest.

The issue has surfaced shortly after the whole Apple iPhone 6 Plus “bendgate” controversy that is still hot despite surfacing a week ago. Still then for a device that sells for a premium price and packs so much power, Samsung buyers would have expected a gap-less design.
