Leaked Nokia Lumia 1520 Images Hint At A 6" Screen

Expected to ship with the latest Window Phone GDR3 update.

 

Looks like Nokia is all ready to jump on the larger-than-hands smartphone bandwagon as leaked images point at a 6" device that will be out soon. TheVerge has posted some images, placing it right next to the Sony Xperia phone to show off its screen size. According to the website, the handset will sport a 1080p screen while incorporating Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and microSD card slot. The Lumia 1520, codenamed Bandit, is also expected to run Microsoft's latest General Distribution 3 Windows Phone 8 update, details of which leaked recently. The phone is expected to sport an iPad mini style nano-SIM tray, and can take pictures in 5 megapixel and 16 megapixel resolutions simultaneously.

For the doubting Thomases, serial-leaker (no he isn't incontinent) evleaks has posted what seems to be internal press images on Twitter. So far, evleaks has been spot-on with all "predictions", so it's quite unlikely that they will fail this time either. As of now, Nokia Lumia 625 is the largest phone in the Lumia line up thanks to its 4.7" screen. Well, it looks like its reign will end soon.
