Huawei P9 To Arrive In India Next Month

The smartphone features a dual 12MP camera made in collaboration with German camera maker Leica.

 

The much awaited Huawei P9 powered by octa-core Kirin 955 processor is set to debut in India by next month. The P9, Huawei's flagship device, is the first result of the tie-up between the world's third biggest smartphone maker and Lecia Camera AG, a 102-year-old firm whose cameras have shot some of the most famous images in the history of photography. The smartphone was launched in April and is now set to break into the Indian Market.

It was also reported that Huawei has used P2i nano coating technology to safeguard their devices. P2i Nano coating is designed to protect the P9 from liquid damage and corrosion caused by accidental splashes and spills.

The smartphone specifications includes a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display. The smartphone will be available with a 3GB RAM with an in built 32GB storage as well as a 4GB RAM with an in built 64GB storage capacity. The device is backed by Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box with EMUI 4.1 on top, and a 3000mAh battery. The company has also stated that it will work on upgrading and adding new features to its EMUI.
