Samsung has sent out invites to the media that it will be unveiling the GALAXY S6 and the S6 edge smartphone in India on the 23rd of March.

The handset was recently announced at the MWC in Barcelona and seems like Samsung is indeed in a hurry to launch the device out here for a variety of reasons.

LG, would be one of them, as the company has already announced its contender (at least until we see the G4) for the current year. Its G Flex 2 will be out as early as this month in India.

So then, it all boils down to one question. Which one will you go in for?

On one hand we have the flexible LG G Flex 2 that happens to be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 810-powered handset, on the other hand we have the revamped Samsung GALAXY S6 edge that will cost you the earth and the sky.

Show goers at the MWC were certainly convinced that Samsung GALAXY S6 edge is indeed quite the looker, while some did find the dual-edge display impractical.

Indeed Samsung seems to have included the display for aesthetics as it does not do much apart from displaying notifications that can be swiped from the side and displaying those flashy notification lights (when turned over).

Of course we cannot forget the powerful and efficient Exynos 7420 chipset inside, that won hands down in the benchmark tests on the MWC floor.

LG on the other hand shows of its curved screen, which is not practical in any possible way (apart from adding that bulge to your pocket).

What is interesting about the G Flex 2 is the hardware and that 64-bit, octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset, that everyone wants to try out. We had a shot at it at the launch event and it did meet our expectations when it came to performance.

There is however another flagship contender that is yet to be announced in the premium smartphone segment and that is the HTC One M9.

Though the handset packs in nothing different compared to its predecessor, it does bring along a standard 20 MP camera unit and again the same Snapdragon 810 chipset. HTC’s design still looks a lot more premium compared to the plasticy G Flex 2.

So which one will you choose? Will it be the Samsung GALAXY S6 edge for its unique dual-edge screen? Or will it be the LG G Flex 2 because of the Snapdragon 810? Sound off in the comments below.
