Google Didn't Infringe On Oracle Patents, Decides Jury In Android Suit

The Android OS is currently dominating the smartphone market. Its share in tablet space has also been noteworthy. Have you ever wondered, how it all started? Contrary to assumptions, this OS was the product of a lesser known startup called Android Inc. This small company was then bought by Google for pursuing its smartphone ambitions. The search giant has since added many products and ideas to the platform, and befriended the OHA (Open Handset Alliance) alongside brands such as LG, HTC, T-Mobile, Samsung, Motorola, and Intel.

The first consumer friendly iteration of the OS was called Angel Cake. Interestingly, Google has named all the versions in an alphabetic order...

PlayStation Emulator Ported To BlackBerry Playbook

Things are getting better for RIM's tablet with each passing day. A few days ago, Rovio released its Angry Birds Space game for the platform, and now it has received a PlayStation emulator called the PCSX-ReARMed-P.

The Playbook didn't received much love from consumers, and a limited number of apps was one of the many things that worked against it. However, after a recent price cut it did manage to garner eyeballs in India. For these users, this emulators is definitely going to be a treat. The tablet is powered by the brand new A5 chip with a quad-core GPU. Its Retina display has pixel dimensions of 2048x1536...

Through the this app store, users can access and download well over 350,000 applications, free of cost.
