Intex Launches Aqua V5 At Rs 2,835

The smartphone comes with basic features while the company targets the first time smartphone users.

 

Domestic handset maker Intex has launched an entry level smartphone dubbed the Aqua V5.

Priced at Rs 2,835, the smartphone is said to be available in black, grey and white colour variants.

Running on 4.4.2 KitKat, the smartphone comes with a 3.5 inch HVGA TFT resolution display and has dual SIM card slots.

The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz processor and 256 MB RAM with 512 MB internal storage which seems to be too less in this digital era where every service is starting to demand to get their app installed on the smartphone.

However, users would be able to get more storage, up to 32 GB to store image files, songs and videos using a microSD card.

Coming to the camera section of the smartphone, it sports a 2 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA camera on the front.

On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua V5 packs a 1,100 mAh battery and supports 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and microUSB.

Considering the price and the specifications of the smartphone, we can pretty much understand that Intex is concentrating more on people from rural areas and also the first timers with the launch of Aqua V5.
