Asus Unveils ZenPad Range Of Tablets At Computex

While one model comes with an interchangeable cover, the other gets a 4 GB RAM and Z Stylus support.

It looks like ASUS is determined to make it big in the mobile industry.

The Taiwanese company Asus as we all know launched its much awaited ZenWatch 2 and the ZenFone Selfie at the Computex 2015 event in Taipei, Taiwan.

However, it may be noted that, apart from the smartphone and the smartwatch, the company also unveiled other products including its range of ZenPad tablets with premium features.

The main attraction we find in the Asus ZenPad tablets are the interchangeable cover that comes with the 8 inch ZenPad 8.0 (Z380C/KL) and the 4 GB RAM of ZenPad S 8.0 along with the stylus option.

Digging more in to these swappable back covers, they do not just give a change in the color or look of the tablet, instead, they add features like surround sound and extra battery among others.

While the audio cover adds six speakers to the back of the tablet and give DTS-HD 5.1 Surround Sound, the battery back panel is expected to add another 14 hours to the life of the tablet.

Now, coming to the ZenPad S 8.0, it comes with a metallic finish and a LED backlight display with 2K QXGA resolution and Intel Atom Z3530 quadcore processor with a whopping 4 GB of RAM.

Also, the ZenPad S 8.0 can be used with the optional Z Stylus.

However, Asus has not yet revealed the timeline for the final release and also the price of the tablets.
