Motorola Launches Atrix 2 In India

Dual-core Android phone with a 4.3" display is priced at Rs 23,000.

 

Motorola's Atrix 2 has finally arrived in India. This Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) phone is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. The 4.3" touchscreen with pixel dimensions of 540x960 is protected against scratches by Gorilla Glass. It comes with a 8 MP autofocus front camera with LED flash that supports 1080p HD video recording at 30fps, and a front camera for video calling. In addition to the internal 8 GB memory, it has support for up to 32 GB via microSD slot. With support for multiple media formats, there is also an HDMI port to take the action to a larger display.{C}

The phone sports the MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets. It features a full HTML web browser with Adobe Flash support for streaming videos. It can be transformed into a webtop using an Lapdock accessory with which you can surf the web, edit documents, make calls, or scan folders on a full-size monitor or HDTV. There is also the ZumoCast app that allows you to access music, pictures, and videos from your computer to play directly on the Atrix 2. The powerful 1785 mAh battery claims to provide a talk time of up to 8 hours 50 minutes, while standby time of up to 382 hours has been mentioned .
