OnePlus To Open Its Pre-Order Window On October 27 For An Hour Only

Invite system still rules.

Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus as announced earlier has set up a page for its OnePlus One pre-orders. The Chinese smartphone maker who earlier resisted a pre-order system seems to have given in and will be opening its shutters to the world on the 27th of October.

Obviously there is a catch. The pre-order window will only remain open for an hour. Which is why OnePlus has a special page set up for the same and even has a system in place that will allow you to prepare your pre-order cart in advance. Obviously you have to be present at the given hour (15:00 GMT = 08:00 PST, 11:00 EST, 20:30 IST) to click on the pre-order button but it indeed takes some of the stress off OnePlus buyers who would be scampering around looking for options and accessories as well.

Since this is OnePlus, things will be interesting on pre-order day too; as the company has a special price on accessories like the JBL earphones. Also if your smartphone is in stock it will ship immediately, else OnePlus will inform you about the approximate shipping time before you make the payment which is pretty good rather than leaving you clueless about the same.

Lastly, the invite system as we reported earlier still rules. You can skip the queue even if you have placed the smartphone in your pre-order cart and OnePlus will cancel it off and deliver your smartphone to you as soon as possible.
