Apple Facing Problems With Bigger iPhone 6 Displays

It’s not that the company lacks the experience in making bigger displays, the iPad is clear proof of that.

Apple clearly wants a bite out of Android’s market share which is why the upcoming iPhones are expected in two sizes, both bigger than the existing crop of iPhones. But it seems that the company has hit a couple of roadblocks that may delay the launch of the bigger 5.5 inch iPhone 6. While Apple seems tensed, Samsung may be breathing a sigh of relief.

The problem is apparently facing touch sensitivity issues that have surfaced on the bigger display. While Apple has plenty of experience with displays of a bigger size (iPad), the phablet-sized 5.5 display reportedly has touch sensitivity issues at the corners of the screen.

Should we expect a delay? Well, according to rumours, the larger iPhone 6 was expected to launch a couple of weeks post the launch of the 4.7 inch model. So while the announcement may not get delayed, the roll-out will.

Samsung has indeed been the ‘king of the ring’ when it comes to bigger displays on mobile devices. The company began the trend with its GALAXY Note smartphone and has since then never looked back. In fact, Samsung is all geared up to launch its all-new GALAXY Note 4 in September at the IFA Berlin, which is rumoured to pack in some really interesting tech.
