Apple's Phablet-Sized 5.5 Inch iPhone 6 Dummy Unit Surfaces Online

Sitting alongside its smaller 4.7 inch sibling, we get a clearer size comparison of Apple’s first phablet sized smartphone.

Photos of a 5.5 inch iPhone 6 dummy unit have finally shown up online. The photos give us a good size comparison between Apple’s smaller 4.7 inch smartphone versus its 5.5 inch phablets-sized beast.

Now we finally get a glimpse of the actual size comparison and from the looks of it, both smartphones seem to be identical in every way. From the placement of the power button which has moved from the top of the device to right side, to the volume controls and the ringer switch on the left.

The odd looking dot between the protruding camera and the single LED flash is also present on the 5.5 inch model. Only difference is that the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 is an inch taller and a centimetre wide in physical dimensions.

Until now we clearly had no solid evidence that Apple was indeed working on a 5.5 inch phablet-sized device. Most of the leaks only showed the 4.7 inch version of the iPhone with the final images of what seemed to be the actual iPhone 6 in the hands of a Korean pop star.
