Successor To The 520, Nokia Lumia 530 Leaks Online For The First Time

The handset is confirmed to come with a 4.3 inch display.

Its official, the Lumia 530 exists! Nokia is indeed working a on a Lumia device that runs Windows Phone 8.1 and will be placed a level below the budget Lumia 630/635 range. The image has been sourced from a Windows Phone buying guide which supposedly showcases all the devices from Microsoft’s arsenal running Windows Phone 8.1.

The image form the source clearly shows a somewhat clear size comparison of the devices. From the looks of it, the Lumia 520 which was the best-selling Windows Phone last year, indeed has a new-age successor and runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 software out of the box.

If we take a well-educated guess, it is pretty clear that the handset sports a 4.3 inch 800 x 480 pixel display. This is because the Lumia 530 appears to be slightly thinner in width and even sports a slightly smaller display (with navigation buttons included). From the image, it is pretty evident that the device similar to the Lumia 630/635 will not come with a front-facing camera as well which was probably done in an effort to cut down costs.

Another thing that we noticed thanks to the image is that the device will come in Blue, Green and Orange. Blue seems to be a new addition here since all the new handsets in Nokia’s Lumia range come in the standard Black, White, Green and Orange with the 630 adding Fluorescent Yellow to the mix.
