Symbian Belle Running Nokia 600 Scrapped By Nokia?

All the info and videos regarding the smartphone has been taken down by Nokia.

Nokia, which is currently in adrenaline rush mode with handsets being launched frequently, has silently scrapped one of their new smartphones. The Nokia 600 which was one of the three Symbian Belle smartphones introduced by Nokia (along with Nokia 700 and 701) has magically disappeared from the company's website and other database. The videos have been taken down as well to give an impression that the handset has been permanently discontinued. We are still to hear anything about this from Nokia, but the evidence that has stacked up so far suggests the demise of this upcoming smartphone. While we are having a hard time figuring out the reasons for this, it may just be that the company thinks the market is too crowded with 3.2" entry-level handsets.

The Nokia 600

The Nokia 600 as most of you might remember was shown off and endorsed as the loudest smartphone in the world with the loudspeaker of the handset said to output sounds of up to 106 Phon without losing clarity in audio, that's really loud! The handset was just a couple of weeks away from launch, so maybe there could be a last minute hardware flaw that Nokia had to deal with. Or it could simply be that Nokia didn't want to distract people's attention from the Windows Phone 7.5 running Lumia 800 and 710 which will be launching anytime soon. We believe that the other two Symbian Belle handsets are scheduled to be launched as planned. What are your thoughts on Nokia's approach towards Symbian smartphones?
