Riding on the success of its popular gaming-franchise based on the disgruntled Angry Birds, Rovio has teased us with yet another spin-off based on the game. After going through all the seasons on earth and exploring space, the game will now take the Jedi-route as the makers have collaborated with Lucasfilm Ltd to come up with an Angry Birds Star Wars version. While details on the game are scarce, the poster shows birds modelled along the lines of Star Wars characters. Reports also suggest that the birds' powers will be dictated as per their "Star Wars role". Considering the massive fan-following of the cult-classic series, the new brand will capitalise on the title by releasing Star Wars based merchandise as well. Seems like the Birds have been feeling left out because the Pigs seem to getting so much love and affection, all of a sudden.

Slated to be released on 8th November, the company will be putting up a lot of teaser videos, animations, and probably will also the gameplay and mechanics of the game up until then. Angry Birds fans can head here for more details. For now though, you can enjoy the short promo video below.
