OnePlus One Gets Cyanogen OS 12.1 Update OTA

We also expect the Yu Yureka and Yu Yuphoria users to soon experience the Cyanogen OS 12.1 Update.

Cyanogen has started rolling out the Cyanogen OS 12.1 update over the air to OnePlus One users.

The update comes in as it was earlier promised by Cyanogen and is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

It is being said that as of now, the latest Cyanogen OS update is being rolled out over-the-air to just 2 percent users and will be reaching more users gradually in the days to come.

However, you don't really have to wait for the update to come to your device. You can download it from here and install it manually.

But, if you are unsure about the process and refrain from doing this, we simply suggest you to wait for the update to show up on your device.

Speaking about the update, one of the notable changes it brings is the activation of the home button in Chrome and is also said to provide critical security fixes for your device to address recently publicised vulnerabilities on Android devices.

To recall, OnePlus has already rolled out Stagefright patches for Oxygen OS for the OnePlus One and One Plus 2.

With this latest update being rolled out to OnePlus One, the company is trying to keep its year old flagship killer still alive.
