D-Link Launches mydlink cloud services

Router, Camera and Cloud Storage allows you to "Control, View and Share from anywhere".

 

D-Link, a brand name known for its networking equipments, has launched the mydlink cloud services. To differentiate itself from the competition, the service has been made available as apps for iOS and Android devices, and users without smartphones can use it via the mydlink.com web portal. The cloud services are tied up through three products viz. a router, camera, and storage device. The products are being marketed as a parental control solution for home users.

The D-Link Cloud Router enables you to control access to your network from anywhere. Smartphone users will get instant notifications the moment someone tries to connect to their network. Using these cloud services, you can also keep a check on what websites the users on your network are browsing. The two models DIR-600L and DIR-605L and are priced at Rs 1900 and Rs 2900 respectively.

The D-Link Cloud Camera can be used as a surveillance system with access to live feeds from the D-Link portal or the smartphone apps. It also offers options for taking a snapshot of live events. The two variants available, the DCS-930L and DCS-932L are priced at Rs 4300 and Rs 5500 respectively.

The final product in the lot is the D-Link Cloud Storage device, which allows users to selectively share content with other people. The product DNR-322L is available at Rs 14,000.
