OPPO N3 Video Shows An Auto Swivelling Camera

Somehow it does not make much sense.

We all know that OPPO N3 will feature a swivelling camera module similar to its successor the N1. What we did not know and was revealed today through an official OPPO video is the fact that the company’s upcoming flagship will sport an auto swivelling camera.

Yes it has finally happened, a smartphone that swivels its camera by itself; you no longer have to turn manually to click that selfie any more. The system actually uses motors to slowly turn the camera around from the back to the front, but what about the settings in between? Well, we hope that OPPO has made a slide to swivel gesture ready for that by now.

Even though the N3’s camera module glides smoothly, it does takes some time to flip over, meaning that you will have to wait those extra seconds and appreciate the flipping mechanism before you click your selfie.

The much-awaited smartphone looks a bit smaller than its predecessor the N1. It also comes with updated hardware unlike the N1 that is rumoured to be a Snapdragon 805 with 3 GB of RAM while the camera is said to have a 16 MP unit.

What we did not like so far is the fake stitching on the back which kind of the reminds us of the Samsung GALAXY Note 3. Why go with a fake stitching on the back when you a choice of two metals for the frame? Well we will know soon when the smartphone gets launched on the 29th of October at an event in Singapore.
