OPPO N3 To Come In Aluminium And Steel Body Options

The Chinese smartphone maker is indeed up to something big.

OPPO through it social media channels has now teased us once again. This time around the company simply confirms what was teased earlier, but also adds something that is clearly new to the smartphone industry. OPPO seems to want to set new standards for Android smartphones, by being the first company to offer a smartphone in two metal options. Yes, the chassis of the OPPO N3 will apparently be available in two options -- Aluminium and Steel when launched next month.

With the hardware for Android smartphones getting standardised these days with the usual chipsets (exclude Samsung here) smartphone manufacturers are indeed looking to work on design and build quality to sell their latest flagships. OPPO seems to have taken its own route here, and for the first time will be introducing a smartphone in two body options.

The two options include Aluminium Lithium Alloy and Stainless Steel. We know that OPPO loves quality which is why we have fine examples of engineering like the Find 7 and N1. This time OPPO goes deeper and will give buyers not just optional colours but an optional chassis to choose from as well.

Of course both the materials do come with their different qualities. Aluminium Lithium Alloy is strong, but is know for being rigid and light. This is the reason why previous and current applications of the alloy include airplanes and applications in rockets as well. As for Stainless Steel, we pretty much know more about it as it widely used in a variety of places in anyone’s household. Of course in the case of a smartphone we get a stronger chassis, tougher than the former, but certainly comes with the added weight.

Either ways, we just cant wait to see how these smartphones look from the front, as we are indeed fans of the OPPO Find 7’s skyline notification light.
