Verizon Bound Lumia 830 Specs Leak; Will Sport A 20 MP PureView Camera

The device which was referred to by Stephen Elop as an ‘affordable high end phone’ will supposedly pack in quite a punch.

We just heard about the Nokia Lumia 730 a while ago and then about Microsoft’s invite for the Lumia announcement on the 4th of September. Now we are beginning to see more and more details about the Lumia 830 showing up online. TK Technews a pretty credible leaker, has supposedly got some information about the specifications of the device, moreover he also added that we should be seeing a video review of the rumoured handset pretty soon.

For now the specifications point out to the Verizon bound Lumia 830 sporting a 4.5 inch display of 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Next up is the camera which is said to sport a large 20 MP sensor along with the PureView technology that Nokia will be bringing to the mid-range with this handset. There will also be SD card support and it seems that specifications are pretty decent if not jaw dropping for a mid-range device.

Even though this handset is expected to launch on Verizon’s network in the US, we would clearly not see too many changes as seen with the Nokia Lumia Icon that launched before the international Lumia 930.
