The handsets will target the mid-range segment.

Samsung has added two new members to its GALAXY family of smartphones. The new entrants are the GALAXY Ace 2 and GALAXY mini 2. Needless to say, these handsets will be upgraded versions of the popular Ace and mini.
According to Samsung, the Ace 2 is powered by an 800 MHz dual-core CPU bearing 768 MB of RAM. Its 3.8" display has pixel dimensions of 800x480. The handset also features Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, 5 MP primary as well as a front VGA camera, 4 GB internal memory, microSD card slot expandable up to 32 GB, and a 1500 mAh battery.
The mini 2 packs in an 800 MHz CPU with 512 MB RAM to keep it company. Its 3.3" screen has pixel dimensions of 480x320. Apart from that, you get 3 MP camera and a 1300 mAh battery. Connectivity options are similar to that of the Ace 2.
Both the smartphones will hit the worldwide market after April. However, Samsung hasn't provided any details regarding its pricing.
