Samsung May Unveil Its Exynos 5433 Processor Today

Its official Twitter handle announced that something big is headed our way.

Samsung’s offical Exynos twitter handle tweeted out something rather interesting a few hours ago. It said that Samsung’s Exynos team has something new to show to the world on Thursday. It directly point to the yet unannounced Samsung Exynos 5433 chipset, which was seen in recent benchmarks.

The chipset was said to make its very first appearance in the upcoming Samsung GALAXY Note 4 to be unveiled in September at the IFA Berlin, but apparently Samsung could not hold back their latest development.

The tweet included a random image showing ice, but considering that this is Samsung we will not take that seriously. As for the processor, it is said to be an octa-core with four Cortex-A15 and four Cortex-A7 cores and will also pack in an Intel modem.

So far the benchmarks tell us that the processor is indeed a powerful one and more in line with the Nvidia K1, other than any of Snapdragon’s current offering and literally demolishes the Snapdragon 805 from Qualcomm. There are also rumours about the processor being a 64-bit one.

Whatever it is, we should know soon as the announcement may be just a few hours away.
