Google Turns 15, Tempts Us With Candy

Fun interactive doodle will take you back to your childhood.

It's not every day that Google celebrates its being through doodles. On its 15th birthday though, the site has created an animated logo that lets you, well collect candy (and we know how much Google loves candy). Just head over to Google's homepage, to play the game. Playing as the blindfolded blue baby g, you can hit the star-dangler filled with candy, as the other alphabets that make up Google's logo cheer you on. You get ten attempts, after which you can share your scores with your peers on g+. Hit as hard as you can; the more the star swings, the more candy will fall off. If you cannot see this or to check out previous Google doodles, head on over here.

Although Google was officially founded on 4th September 1998, and celebrated its birthday on the 7th till 2004, it soon switched to 26th (27th in 2006) thereafter, for reasons best known to the search giant.

Recently, Google made many a netizens very happy lot by opening its arms to BitTorents in its auto-complete search listing. May be the search giant was just trying to be wiser and nicer as it grows older! Either ways, we aren't complaining.
