XOLO A500S Mid-Range Smartphone Unveiled, Costs Rs 7000

XOLO has launched its new mid-range smartphone, the XOLO A500S that runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The new smartphone is priced at Rs 6990, and comes with a 4" TFT display. Unlike XOLO'S recent offerings that packed in a quad-core processor (including the Q1000, Q600, and XOLO Play), the A500S comes with a dual-core processor.

The key technical specifications of the XOLO A500S include:

  • 4" TFT display with 480x800 pixels.
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek 6572W SoC.
  • Dual-SIM support.
  • 5 MP rear snapper, VGA front camera.
  • 512 MB RAM.
  • 4 GB internal storage.
  • MicroSD card slot for expansion up to 32 GB.
  • Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, Wi-Fi, and microUSB connectivity.

XOLO A500S' predecessor, the A500 comes with identical tech-specs, save for its Android 4.0 platform and costs Rs 7000.
