Update (29 July): The Micromax Bling 3 A86 smartphone is now available for purchase. It is priced at Rs 9,600 on Snapdeal.com.

Previously on 24 July: A new Micromax smartphone, the Bling 3 A86 has been spotted, and is expected to launch soon. The supposed new variant in Micromax's now-extinct Bling series has seen handsets such as the Bling 2 and Bling X44 earlier. Micromax Bling 3 A86 is up on Flipkart, albeit without a price tag. Here are a few key tech-specs of handset, as per the e-commerce website:

  • 4" capacitive touchscreen display.
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
  • 1 GHz dual-core processor.
  • Dual-SIM support (GSM + GSM).
  • 5 MP rear camera, along with a 0.3 MP front snapper.
  • MicroSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB.
  • 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB.
  • 1600 mAh battery with claimed talk time of 4 hours on 2G

Important details such as RAM size and the internal storage has not been revealed. The Micromax Bling 3, once released, will be up against Karbonn's recently-released Karbonn A25 that is priced at Rs 6590, runs Android 4.0, and sports a 5" display and a 2000 mAh battery. Micromax's last smartphone launch was the Canvas 4 priced at Rs 18,000, which is possibly a rebranded variant BLU Life One in India.
