Leaked screenshots hint at a price tag of $229 for the 16 GB variant.

Earlier this month we reported about a possible time frame for the launch of the next gen Nexus 7, which was revealed via a conversation between a Asus employee and a lawyer. And now pictures of the device itself have been posted by AndroidCentral along with details of the specifications and screenshots of inventory suggesting possible availability of the device towards the end of the month.

Pictures obtained by Engadget suggest that the new Nexus 7 will be in stock by 20th July which is just in time for the Press Event scheduled for 24th July in San Francisco. It is expected to be an Android event with the official unveiling of Android 4.3 but we do not rule out the possibility of Nexus 7 announcement or a brief show of the Moto X on the floor.
