Next-Gen Google Nexus 7 Specs And Launch Details Leak

Expected to run Android 4.3, the 7" slate will probably be out by end of July.

The Google Nexus 7 was launched at Google I/O in 2012 and it enjoyed a pretty good stint. It made its way to India a few months back, and now, an Asus representative has revealed specs and launch details of the next-gen Nexus 7 tablet. The screenshot of the chat was first posted on XDA developer forums, which gives a clear idea of what can we expect from the Nexus 7's predecessor.

Another rumour by AndroidAuthority talks about the conversation between a Lawyer and an Asus employee, mentioning the launch date to be before the ending of July. Some of the specs revealed include a 7" screen with Full-HD LED display (1920x1080), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU/ Snapdragon APQ8064 CPU, 32 GB of internal storage, 2 GB RAM, and the upcoming Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).

It will also sport a rear 5 MP snapper, with a 1.2 MP front camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and network support for LTE/WCDMA/GSM. It will be powered by a 4000 mAh battery. The Asus employee also mentions that the specifications have "not been confirmed" and hence not available to the public yet.

This discussion can be a fake, but the specs do seem to possible. If true, we won't have to wait too long to find out more on the next-gen Nexus 7 and Android 4.3. Here is the screenshot of the conversation.
