Intex Launches Aqua I-5, Quad-Core Smartphone At Rs 11,690

Powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, this Android 4.2 dual-SIM handset sports a 5" screen.

 

Intex Technologies has launched its new smartphone in the Aqua series called the Intex Aqua I-5. This one is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Sporting a 5" display, the Aqua I-5 is priced at Rs 11,690 and is now available across brick and mortar stores across India. However, apart from the 5" display and quad-core SoC, Intex Aqua's USP is its 12 MP rear camera. Apart from that, it also features a 2 MP front camera for video calling.

However, with its price tag close to Rs 12K, Intex Aqua I-5 competes with the Karbonn S5 Titanium, Xolo Q700 (priced under Rs 10,000) and Micromax A116 Canvas HD.
