Android 2.3-Based Micromax A25 Smarty Dual-SIM Phone Launched For Rs 3900
With a 1.3 mp camera, 2.8" screen, and Wi-Fi, one of the cheapest GSM phones with a 1 GHz CPU.

Micromax continues to shoot phone after phone off its seemingly perpetual production line, and a launch doesn't get me excited any more. But the company has now upped the ante by launching the A25 Smarty, which is one of the first 1 GHz dual-SIM, dual-standby Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) smartphones under Rs 4,000. What's more, it has Wi-Fi and 2G connectivity as well. On the down side, if you can call it that, the screen measures just 2.8", and there is no GPS. The RAM is only 256 MB, while internal storage is 120 MB — although you can add up to 32 GB via microSD. Since there's no official product page yet, here is the full specifications list from Saholic.com:
- Dual-SIM GSM Standby; Dual-band 2G (900, 1800 MHz) for both SIMs.
- 2.8" touchscreen (320x240).
- 1.3 megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with 4x digital zoom, Night Vision, Multishot.

The Micromax A25 Smarty is available online for Rs 3900; if the phone manages to harness the power of its 1 GHz CPU, this seems to be a good deal.
