JBL Launches Updated Portable Speaker Lineup
The updated portable speakers look promising while they come in at different price points from Rs 9,990 to Rs 24,990.

JBL, an audio electronics company owned by Harman Kardon has recently launched its updated series of portable speakers which include the JBL Xtreme, Pulse 2, Flip 3 and Charge 2+.
Speaking about the price tags of the new portable speakers, the Xtreme comes at Rs 24,990 while the Pulse 2 is priced at Rs 17,990, Charge 2+ at Rs 12,990 and Flip 3 comes in at Rs 9,990.
While the company has launched the new speakers, they are said to be available in the market for purchase before Diwali.
Speaking on the technical part of the new speakers, they are said to have noise and echo reduction technology built into them along with a JBL Connect feature allowing users to chain the JBL speakers wireless. It is worth noting that this feature is pretty much similar to that of the new SoundTouch speakers launched recently by Bose.
The JBL Pulse 2 is the updated variant of the popular JBL Pulse and also like the predecessor, the Pulse 2 comes with lights on the exterior part of the speaker. Interestingly, the lights sync accordingly with your music and also display various colours. However, as an addition in the Pulse 2, the speaker now gets Prism Lens which allows users to control the colour light to be displayed on the exterior by just pointing the lens onto an object. The speaker comes with an 6,000 mAh battery which the company claims to provide up to 10 hours of music playback.
Now, coming to the other speakers, the JBL Xtreme comes with 4 transducers and 2 bass radiators while it is powered by a 10,000 mAh battery. Also, the speaker can be used as a power bank since it comes with 2 USB ports to charge devices.
Moving further, while the JBL Flip 3 packs a 3,000 mAh battery, the Charge 2+ comes with a 6,000 mAh battery.
Having this said, we can clearly this move by JBL to come in sync with the recently launched updated lineup of wireless speakers by Bose.
We just have to wait and watch as to how would JBL play against the Bose speakers.
