iberry Auxus Prime P8000 To Be Launched In India Soon

Supporting the 4G bands in India, the new phone is a customised version of Elephone P8000 for the Indian market.

 

China based smartphone company Elephone is all set to bring its next smartphone to India which is said to be made in partnership with iberry.

The smartphone dubbed Auxus Prime P8000 is expected to be launched in India soon and will be available exclusively on Snapdeal by the end of this month.

However, while the technical specifications and other information have been shared by the company, it is yet to announce the pricing of the iberry Auxus Prime P8000.

Elephone has also announced that the iberry Auxus Prime P8000 is a customised version of Elephone P8000 for the Indian market which also supports 4G bands in India.

Speaking about the specifications of the Auxus Prime P8000, it comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display while supporting dual SIM and dual standby.

The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of in-built storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.

The Auxus Prime P8000 comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Samsung sensor and 5 MP front camera along with fingerprint scanner.

Along with this, backing the smartphone is a huge 4,165 mAh non-removable battery which the company claims to deliver up 268 hours of standby time and up to 21 hours of talk time.

Apart from 4G LTE, connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, and 3G. It comes with gravity sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor. The handset also support quick charging.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
