Now, Google has brought the Google Play prepaid vouchers in to the Indian market which can be used to purchase digital content such as apps, games, in-app purchases, ebooks, renting or buying movies on the Google Play store.

According to the Google's official blog post, these prepaid vouchers would be available at select stores of Vijay Sales and Spice Hotspot in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Jaipur in three options: Rs 500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500.

In case if you are wondering as to how this whole thing works, you need to simply ask the cashier at the register for a Google Play prepaid voucher.

Pay using cash or any other form of payment accepted by the retail store and receive a redemption code that you can use to purchase digital content on Google Play.
