Vivo’s X5Pro Hardware Details Are Out; Sports A 4150 mAh Battery

Vivo’s X5Pro has managed to capture everyone’s attention in the Android space. While the 2.5 D glass on the smartphone is impressive (and confirmed), Vivo has indeed been hiding some of the other interesting bits, so it seems.

A new leak has surfaced more details about this interesting smartphone’s specifications. This would include the presence of a massive 4150 mAh battery; something that is hard to believe, thanks to its slim construction.

Still then, Vivo seems to be going for some run of the mill specifications with the rest of the hardware. This also indicates that the company is trying to keep the price of the smartphone low by balancing design with specs.

According to the newly leaked details:

  • We can expect a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display
  • A 64-bit, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.7 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage
  • There may be a 13 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture on the back, while the front-facing unit is a 5 MP one
  • On the software side of things, we get some good news in the form of Funtouch OS 2.1 with Android 5.0 Lollipop as the base

The Vivo X5Pro is expected to go official on the 7th of May and also rumoured to pack in eye-recognition software.
