Samsung GALAXY A7 Reaches India; Shows Up On Import Listings

While the A5 and the A3 have still been making rounds in the rumour mill, we clearly have no clue what the A7 will bring to the table.

Samsung is indeed working on its rumoured Alpha range of mid-range handsets. While bits of the first handset, the SM-A500F (A5) have already leaked out plenty of times ever since the GALAXY Alpha was announced, it seems that Samsung is also working on a A7 model as the Zauba import listings have revealed.

The import listing simply indicates that Samsung India has imported a device tagged as the SM-A700F and that too for R & D purposes only. Clearly, this indicates that the device is undergoing regional testing and is yet to hit the assembly line.

At this point we do not know much about the SM-A700F apart from the hunch that it may pack a bigger screen than the recently leaked out A5 and A3. What we do know is that it may be a mid-range offering. Again, there is that metal frame that Samsung seems to have included on the A5, which for sure will also make it to the device.

And yes there is a chance that this could not be a smartphone but a 7 inch tablet that we are looking at in the import listing.
