Samsung GALAXY Alpha Images Leak Again; Benchmarks In Tow

Clearly, there will not be much left for Samsung to reveal at the rumoured launch expected to happen today.

The Samsung GALAXY Alpha is indeed trying to beat HTC’s One M8 and Google’s Nexus 5 at being one of the most leaked out devices in recent history. After leaking out a number of times in the past couple of months, the handset has once again shown up in a number of leaked images along with the AnTuTu benchmarks.

The newly leaked images show what we have already had a glimpse of in the past. The image of the handset with the back panel opened, clearly shows that Samsung has indeed worked on semi-metal design well, but the plasticy internals, do kill it in a way. Indeed there is not much that can be done since Samsung thinks that its users indeed prefer a removable battery with NFC which is why there is the plastic back.

As for the benchmark results, seems like Samsung has included some beefy hardware after all. It beat Samsung’s own current flagship the GALAXY S5 and HTC’s One M8 smartphone with its rumoured octa-core Exynos 5 SoC with a hexa-core Mali-T628 GPU. A new spec for sure considering that we thought it would be released with a the Exynos 5433 all along.
