Samsung Note 4 Production To Start In July; Tipped For September Launch

The company seems to be preparing for the launch of the ‘phablet-sized’ device's next iteration that coined the term.

A Korean news report has pointed out that Samsung is preparing itself for the mass production of upcoming GALAXY Note 4. The report claims that Samsung will supposedly launch the GALAXY Note 4, which is expected to come in two variants, at the IFA Berlin and will hit the stores immediately after that.

Samsung till then will be preparing its production facilities to gear up for the big sprint, which is expected to take place from July to August in order to deliver the product by September. The Korean company has made it a tradition to launch its Note range of GALAXY handsets in September every year and this year it plans to make it bigger by coinciding the same with the IFA exhibition at Berlin to be held from September 5-10.

The device which is the successor to last year’s Note 3 is rumoured to come with a curved display and a flat standard form as well. There is not much information about the devices yet, but sources close to Samsung’s local partners say that the company will be going all out this time around, bringing the latest tech to a market segment, which it built from scratch.

The curved display will head to niche markets, while the standard flat one will be available in the mass markets. Samsung’s curved display will either resemble the GALAXY Round smartphone, something that we saw at last year’s Consumer Electronics Show that was a 3-sided YOUM display with bent edges.
