Oppo Find 7 Scheduled For Launch On The 11th Of June In India

Will be the first mobile phone in India to sport a Quad HD display.

Oppo has sent out press invites inviting the media for the launch of its flagship smartphone, the Find 7. The launch that is scheduled for the 11th of June is just a week away and will surely change the buying decisions of many who are looking out for a future proof, top-of-the-line smartphone.

It seems that Oppo will not be holding back anything this time around and will supposedly launch both the Find 7 and the Find 7a simultaneously. The Find 7a is Full HD variant of the device that comes with a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 which is clocked at 2.3 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. Its Quad HD sibling, the Find 7 comes with a pixel dense 2560 x 1440 pixel display with an eye-popping 534 ppi. The Find 7 is also powered by the faster Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 SoC, is clocked at 2.5 GHz and comes with a hefty 3 GB of RAM.

Both variants clearly come under flagship territory and are powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Oppo’s Color OS skin keeping things refreshed for the user. The camera is a 13 MP Sony IMX214 stacked sensor (6 element lens) which even includes the powerful Super Zoom mode that captures 50 mega-pixel imagery. Also included is 4K video recording which seems to be the standard fare with flagships these days.

What many will like about the Oppo Find 7 and 7a will be the new VOOC charger which will allow users to charge that large 3000mAh battery up to 75% in just 30 minutes. Pricing and availability will be announced at the launch event itself but expect the devices to cost in Rs 35,000 – 40,000 range.
