GALAXY Note 4 To Get HTC M8-Like Gesture Features And More

Sources point out that the new features are being tested on GALAXY S5 itself.

SamMobile has got exclusive news that Samsung is currently testing a number of GALAXY S5 like gesture and motion features for its upcoming Samsung Note 4 handset. Oddly, insiders point out that the new features are being tested on a GALAXY S5 handset that is powered by Android 4.4.3 as its base.

The new features include ‘Swipe to launch Motion Launcher’, ‘Aqua Capture’, ‘Multi Network for Booster’ and ‘Smart Fingerprint’. As you may have noticed, the renamed features are pretty much similar to what is currently being offered on the GALAXY S5 excluding the ‘Swipe to Motion Launcher’.

‘Swipe to launch Motion Launcher’ is something similar to what is found on the HTC One M8 and the Oppo Find 7 where one can launch apps through gestures made with the phone or on a screen that has been switched off. ‘Aqua Capture’ on the other hand may as well be the Aqua Mode that is available on GALAXY S5 devices that allows you to click better photos underwater. This also points out that the Note 4 will come with water and dust resistance. ‘Multi Network for Booster’ would be similar to the Download Booster feature that is available on the S5 that allows for downloading via multiple connections (3G and Wi-Fi) in one go.

Lastly, we have ‘Smart Fingerprint’ which is said to come with a lot more features packed-in compared to the current unlocking and transactions that are possible on GALAXY S5 handsets. Strangely, there is no news about the display of the handset, since previous rumours pointed out to a YOUM display with rounded corners. Let’s hope that the Note 4 brings something new apart from the bigger QHD (2560 x 1440 pixel) screen that the device is already rumoured to come with.
